Digital vs Dynamic
What is the difference between a Digital Image and a Dynamic stamp?
We get this question from time to time.
DIGITAL IMAGE:
Many of our physical self-inking Shop Drawing Submittal Review stamps have the option to also purchase a digital image of your Shop Drawing stamp. Some companies utilize Blue Beams Revu software. Within the software, one is able to create their own dynamic shop drawing submittal review stamp. Our dynamic stamps do not work with Blue Beams Revu software. So, we choose to offer a digital image which can be installed into Blue Beam's Revu software then it can be programmed to be a dynamic stamp.
DYNAMIC STAMP:
If you are using an Adobe product for your shop drawing submittal reviews and would like a dynamic shop drawing stamp, then you would choose to purchase one of our dynamic shop drawing submittal review stamps.
Finishing up with the question of 'What is the difference between a digital image and a dynamic stamp:
A digital image is just that, an image. There are no fillable fields or interactive capabilities. It is simply a pdf image.
A dynamic stamp, once installed into your Adobe software, is an interactive stamp which has fillable fields which can be filled in each time it is applied into a document. You can fill in checkboxes, enter dates, enter signatures and many more possibilities.
